Navigate locations

Use the Navigator panel and the path bar to move through the filesystem without losing your place. You can keep important files and folders close at hand, browse mounted storage, and give each Explorer tab its own navigation history.

• Add and organize favorites — keep shortcuts to files and folders in the Navigator panel.
• Navigate folders and paths — use history, breadcrumbs, and typed paths in an Explorer tab.
• Open drives, cloud storage, and Trash — browse the storage locations available on your computer.
• Connect to a server — mount an SMB share and keep it available in Locations.
