What is Phials?

Phials is a file manager for browsing and working with files and folders in the locations you already use. The essentials are familiar: navigate folders, manage items on disk, and open files in Phials or another app. Phials adds flexible file views, file-aware tools, and optional ways to describe and connect files without turning them into a separate library.

Choose the outcome closest to what you want to do:

• Manage your files with familiar folder navigation, flexible views, search, and file-centered organization.
• Take notes and build knowledge around files with Pages, notes, properties, and connections.
• Track projects and tasks with properties, saved views, Boards, and Calendar.
• Work with code and technical projects with source editing, repository summaries, search, and Terminal.
• Review and organize media with thumbnails, metadata, ratings, tags, viewers, and supported editors.
